Wayne R. Gillingham
Wayne R. Gillingham, 58 of Danbury, husband of Nancy (Forte) Gillingham died on Saturday, October 2, 2010, at Danbury Hospital. He was born in Queens NY, son of C. Wesley Gillingham and the late Beatrice (Jones) Gillingham of Newtown.
Wayne graduated from Newtown High School and Windham College in Putney VT.
Wayne was employed by Photronics Inc. before having to retire due to his illness.
Wayne is also survived by his daughter who he cherished, Lauren Gillingham; his brothers, Robert Gillingham of TN, Wesley Gillingham and his wife Amy of NY; niece and nephew Iris and Roan. Father-in-law Rudolph Forte, sister-in law Kathleen Forte-Leventhal and husband Gerald, Robert Forte, John Forte and wife Julie, and treasured niece and nephews, Lindsay, Ryan and Jake.
A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, Oct. 9, 2010, at 11:30 am at St. Gregory the Great Church, 85 Great Plain Rd., Danbury. There will be no calling hours. Interment will be private. Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, is in charge of arrangements.
