Mayo, Frederick A., 51, formerly of Barre and more recently of East Dummerston, died Aug. 16. Born in 1948 in Barre, he was the son of Frederick and Margaret (Hamel) Mayo. He graduated from Spaulding High School and received [1970] a bachelor's degree in history from Windham College in Putney. He was an employee of the Lyon Travel Agency in Brattleboro. Survivors include a sister, Marilyn Mayo and a cousin.
